A scarce First World War period 'South Lancashire Regiment silver sweetheart brooch' of superior quality, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details "W.J.D" (William James Dingley, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, an excellent example.

A fine quality scarce First World War period 'South Lancashire Regiment sweetheart brooch' of grand size, the reverse impressed 9ct (9 carat gold) and maker's details "T.L.M" (Thomas Lynton Mott). Very good condition, original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, complete with accommodation ring to which a safety chain can be attached, enamel with minor service wear.
