A rare original First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '134th Infantry Battalion also known as the 48th Highlanders sweetheart brooch' in the form of a silver plate and enamel miniature style brooch, representation the regiments cap badge, sewn to a two tassled silk tartan kilt. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, card backing and tatan presentation box.

A scarce original First World War period 'Fort Garry Horse sweetheart brooch'; heavy gold fronted maple leaf badge engraved with the 'Fort Garry Gate' and mounted on a 1912 Officer's pattern style sword, the reverse impressed "Sterling" and with maker's details "A.Bros"(Ahronsberg Brothers Birmingham).
