A good quality original First World War period 'Royal Fusiliers silver and enamel sweetheart brooch' of impressive size and designed on the style of the cap badge, a flaming grenade with blue enamel Garter bearing the motto "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" (evil to him who evil thinks) with central device a silver rose inlaid with red enamel surmounted by a King's Crown, the reverse impressed "Sterling" and with maker's details "T.L.M" (Thomas Lynton Mott). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect.

6th (Militia) Battalion Royal Fusiliers, City of London Regiment, Irish Silver Dublin 1909 Hallmarked Watch Fob by Edmond Johnson, Dublin Ireland.

A very scarce example of an Irish made '6th (Militia) Battalion Royal Fusiliers watch fob', large Crowned Garter bearing the motto "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" (evil to him who evil thinks) with central device of a silver rose, the reverse impressed with Dublin silver hallmarks for 1909 and maker's details "EJ" (Edmond Johnson Ltd Grafton Street, Dublin). Very good condition, complete with original heavy duty ring attachment.
Height 44mm.

4th Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers redesignated 6th Battalion in 1898 and redesignated the 7th Battalion in 1921.

A stunning First World War period fine quality 'Royal Fusiliers gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', designed on the style of the cap badge, flaming grenade with applied Garter, bearing the motto "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" (evil to him who evil thinks) surmounted by a King's Crown with central device of a silver rose, the reverse impressed "15" and "15ct" to the pin (pre 1931 15 carat gold mark). Housed in what appears to be its original presentation fitted case with details to the inside lid "Charles Packer & Co, 76 & 78, Regent St. London, W.". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, complete with removable gold safety chain.
