A scarce First World War period '2nd Dragoons silver sweetheart brooch', cut out French eagle resting on "Waterloo" tablet, tri-part scroll below "Royal Scots Greys" retaining a gold plating finish to the front, the reverse impressed "Silver & 9ct". Very good condition, original pin fittings.

2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys) 1908 Hallmarked Silver Horseshoe, Antique Regimental Sweetheart Brooch.

A rare Edwardian 'Royal Scots Greys' cavalry sweetheart brooch, in the form of a crowned circle with motto 'Nemo Me Impune Lacessit', resting in a title scroll 'Royal Scots Greys' and mounted to a hollow silver horseshoe by two pins and retainers, the reverse bearing Birmingham hallmarks for 1908 and maker's details "MB". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortion, manufacturers flaw to left side of scroll.
Height 30mm.

A very rare First World War period '2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys) sweetheart brooch'; the heavy gold fronted badge, a French eagle resting on "Waterloo" tablet, mounted on a 1912 Officer's pattern style sword, the reverse bearing Chester silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details "J&RG" (J & R Griffin, Birmingham). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings and all of the gold plating to the front of the badge.

A rare Edwardian and very unusual 'Royal Scots Greys hollow silver Cavalry sweetheart brooch, in the form of a crowned circle with motto 'Nemo Me Impune Lacessit' with title scroll above 'Royal Scots Greys' and ribbon scroll below 'Second To None'; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1906, maker's details "F.N" (Frederick Narborough, Birmingham) and mounted on a finely made hunting crop. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortion, an excellent example.
