A finely detailed, dainty mid 1920's period 'Gordon Highlanders silver sweetheart brooch' in the form of an officer's regimental cap badge, bearing the crest of the 'Marquis of Huntly,' a stag's head issuing from a Ducal Coronet within an ivy wreath, with the motto 'Bydand' below, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1924 and with maker's details "JRG&S" (J.R.Gaunt & Sons). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
