A fine quality Queen Elizabeth II circa 1970's period 'Royal Marines silver regimental sweetheart brooch' in the form of a miniature representation of the regiments cap badge, laurel sprays surmounted by the 'Royal Crest' with Globe to the centre; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver anchor "925" and post 1970 maker's details "D&N" (Dalman & Narborough Ltd Lombard Street, Birmingham). Excellent mint condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in perfect working order.

A superb and rare 'Royal Marines ladies powder compact', the lid beautifully enamelled with the 'Colours of the Regiment', both parts bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1931, maker's details "JWB' (J W Benson Ltd, London) and "PAT. No 350121" a registered, design and patent date of 1900. Very good clean condition, no damage to the enamel a few minor surface scratches, sound hinge and complete with mirror.
