A scarce First World War period 'King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry gold and enamel sweetheart brooch'; fine quality badge with "K.O.Yorkshire L.I." scroll inlaid with rich blue enamel, mounted on a slim bar, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) and with maker's details "JAP".
