South Wales Borderers 1902 silver regimental sweetheart brooch

A very scarce Boer War period 'South Wales Borderers silver sweetheart brooch'; the badge an unbroken wreath of immortelles surmounted by a Queen Victoria Crown with 'Sphinx' on Egypt tablet within resting on the numerals "24", laurel wreath and title scrolls below; mounted on hollow filigree silver circular backing the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1902 and maker's details "MB". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, an excellent example.
