A scarce First World War period 'Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve hollow silver anchor brooch', the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1916 and maker's details "ALLd" (Adie & Lovekin Ltd). Very good condition, retaining original pin fitting, no dents or distortions, an excellent example.
