WW2 Royal Engineers gold and enamel regimental sweetheart brooch

A fine quality GVIR example, the reverse impressed '9ct' (9 carat gold) and with maker's details 'D & F' (Deakin & Francis Ltd Birmingham). Very good condition, original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, no damage to the enamel.
