A scarce First World War period 'Devonshire Regiment hollow silver sweetheart brooch', conjoined hearts one bearing the Regiments badge, the other inscribed with the 'Mizpah Benediction' 'The Lord Watch Between Me & Thee When We Are Absent One From Another'; the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details 'C&S'. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortions.
