Irish Guards regimental sweetheart brooch

A fine quality unmarked 'Irish Guards sweetheart brooch', converted from an Officer's service dress cap badge, rayed St.Patrick Star mounted with detachable pierced gilt motto "Quis Separabit MDCCLXXXIII" on a blue enamel ground, to the center a green enamel shamrock bearing three crowns set on red enamel saltire on a white enamel field, the reverse with original two loops replaced by pin fittings. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel.
