75th Battery Royal Artillery 1966 gold regimental brooch by Garrard

A superb quality rare brooch, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1966 and maker's details 'G & Co Ld' (Garrard & Co London ) the Crown Jewellers. Very good condition, original pin fittings incorporating safety catch.
Height 25mm.
It was announced in 1967 that 75 Battery was to be placed in suspended animation and it was replaced by H Battery (Ramsays' Troop) Royal Artillery.
