Dorsetshire Regiment 4th Bn mother of pearl sweetheart brooch

A scarce 4th Battalion Dorsetshire Regiment brooch, handmade from mother of pearl, with blank tablet below the Sphinx rather than "Marabout" that the Regular Infantry wore. Very good condition and still retaining its original pin fitting.
Height 30mm.
This is being sold as a collector's item only, as these types of pins were only glued in place and are now too fragile and unsuitable for wearing.
