Royal Navy HMS Rodney silver and enamel sweetheart brooch

A scarce Second World War period brooch, the reverse impressed "Silver", suspended from a silver and enamel bar but with over large sized ring, which suggests it could have once been worn as a watch fob. Very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Height 40mm.
HMS Rodney was a Nelson class battleship, launched in 1925, during World War II she played a major role in the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck, she was scapped in 1948.
