London Irish Rifles 1916 hallmarked gold regimental sweetheart brooch

A very rare First World War gold convex brooch, the reverse bearing Birmingham gold hallmarks for 1916 and maker's details "S & Co". Very good condition, original pin fittings, excellent patina.
