A superb Second World War period scarce gilt ATS brooch, designed on the style of the cap badge suspended from a Field Service Cap, the reverse impressed in relief "Regdn 837997" a design and patent date of 1940, also with maker's details "SS Ltd". Very good condition, original pin fittings.
