A scarce First World War period gilt and enamel HMS Kent naval flag sweetheart brooch. Very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.

HMS Kent was a Monmouth-class armoured cruiser, launched in 1901, she served on China Station, participated in the Battle of the Falkland Islands and was sold for scapping in 1920.
