A scarce First World War period "Machine Gun Corps" gilt and enamel sweetheart brooch, design on the style of the cap badge, crossed vickers guns surmounted by a crown with red enamelling, "MGC" title in blue. Very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright.
