Royal Navy 18ct gold platinum and diamond set nautical crown brooch

A very fine quality and superb example of a First World War period Naval Crown sweetheart brooch, set with sixteen diamonds, the reverse impressed "18ct" (18 carat gold) and "Plat" (platinum). Excellent condition, original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, accommodation ring to secure a safety chain and complete with a good quality unused burgundy red velvet lined presentation case.
