A scarce Royal Navy ship 'HMS Resolution' gilt and enamel naval sweetheart brooch, depicting an early ship's crest and blue enamel title scroll. Very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.

HMS Resolution was a Revenge-class battleship, launched January 1915 and commissioned December 1916, she served in both WW1 and WWII, and was sold for scapping in 1948.
