Royal Navy Ship HMS Ready 1917 silver pennant flag sweetheart brooch

A rare First World War silver and enamel HMS Ready sweetheart brooch, the naval flag depicting a lion's head and paw with motto above "Ready Aye Ready", the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1917 and maker's details "G.L" (G Loveridge & Co Birmingham) and "Page Plymouth" Very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.

HMS Ready was a Royal Navy Destroyer built by Thornycroft, launched in 1916, sold for scrapping in 1926.
