Royal Engineers 1916 hallmarked gold rifle sweetheart brooch

A fine quality First World War Royal Engineers gold and enamel sweetheart brooch, the reverse bearing Birmingham gold hallmarks for 1916 to the rifle also impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold) to the badge. Very good condition, complete with rifle sling, no damage to the enamel.
