Northumberland Fusiliers 1914 hallmarked 9ct gold sweetheart brooch

A First World War period 'Northumberland Fusiliers large gold and enamel sweetheart brooch of the finest quality, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1914 and makers details "W.J.D" (William James Dingley, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, with no damage to the enamel, a ring to accommodate a safety chain. An excellent example.
