Sherwood Foresters Notts & Derby silver brooch by P.Orr & Sons Ltd India

A rare and very unusual First World War period fine quality 'Sherwood Foresters silver and enamel sweetheart brooch, the reverse impressed "Orr Sil" (Silver) (P.Orr & Sons Ltd Madras & Rangoon). Very good condition, original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, minor wear to the enamel and contained in its original clean presentaion case with corresponding maker's details to the inside lid.
