A scarce Boer War 'Black Watch hollow silver South Africa horseshoe sweetheart brooch', the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1900 and maker's details "MB". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortions, an excellent example.
