Royal Navy HMS Pigeon ships crest silver sweetheart brooch

A rare First World War period Royal Navy Ship HMS Pigeon large silver and enamel sweetheart brooch, bearing an early ships crest depicting a pigeon in rope edge circle, superinposed over crossed anchors, the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver" and with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Bolton". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, minor service wear to the enamel.
