Essex Regiment 9ct gold and enamel sweetheart brooch

A very fine quality circa 1940's 'Essex Regiment gold sweetheart brooch', designed on the style of the cap badge with superb enamelling, the reverse impressd '9ct Gold'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings and no damage to the enamel, an excellent example.
Height 24mm.
