Royal Engineers 1915 hallmarked silver sweetheart brooch

A First World War very unusual style 'Royal Engineers sweetheart brooch', the reverse bearing London silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details "C.Bros". Good condition, retaining original pin fittings, shell with a very good patina, but with surface cracks.
