Parachute Regiment 1953 hallmarked gold and enamel sweetheart brooch

A rare Elizabeth II fine quality 'Parachute Regiment sweetheart brooch' in the form of a winged parachute canopy surmounted by the Royal Crest, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1953. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating a safety roller catch, no damage to the enamel.
