Royal Navy HMS Barham ships crest silver sweetheart brooch
A scarce First World War period 'HMS Barham naval sweetheart brooch', depicting the ship's crest within a decorative surround, the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver" and with maker's details "Thomas Fattorini Bolton". Good condition, complete with original pin fitting, enamel damage to the scroll.
Diameter 29mm.
During the Second World War HMS. Barham was sunk off the coast of Sidi Barrani, Egypt, on 25th November 1941 by the German submarine boat U-331.
