Seaforth Highlanders Scottish kilt and sporran sweetheart brooch original box
A scarce First World War period 'Seaforth Highlanders sweetheart brooch', in the form of a two tassled silver plated sporran cantle the title scroll inlaid with enamel, attached to a silk tartan kilt and complete with retailer's original tartan box with paper lapel 'Seaforths' to one end and inner display card, now showing a bit of age wear. The brooch is in very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel or silk, an excellent example.
Height 72mm.
These style of brooches were popular at the time and worn in the throat of a high necked blouse.
