Royal Navy Medical Service 1955 gold and pearl brooch

A fine quality rare 'Royal Navy Medical Service gold brooch' in the form of a naval crowned Rod of Asclepius set with eleven pearls, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1955. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch.
