EIIR Royal Tank Regiment,1956 Hallmarked Gold & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch by Garrard & Co, London.

A superb quality scarce 'Royal Tank Regiment gold and enamel sweetheart brooch, designed in the form of the cap badge, a tank within a green translucent enamel laurel wreath, mounted with a EIizabeth II Crown and 'Fear Naught' the regimental motto scroll below, the reverse bearing Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1956 and maker's details "G & Co Ld" in trefoil (Garrard & Co London) the Crown Jewellers. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch, no damage to the enamel.
