A scarce First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '25th Infantry Battalion CEF sweetheart brooch' gilt maple leaf bearing enamelled scrolls "Overseas Nova 25 Scotia Canada". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
