A rare First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '212th Infantry Battalion CEF sweetheart brooch' gilt maple leaf bearing enamelled scrolls "212 Canada Overseas American Legion". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel manufactures infill flaw, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
