A scarce First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force 'Lord Strathcona's Horse Royal Canadians CEF sweetheart brooch' Crowned gilt maple leaf wreath bearing enamel horseshoe title scroll and regimental motto "Perseverance". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel manufactures infill flaw to shield, gilt remains bright, an excellent example.
Height 32mm.
