WW1 Scottish Horse 15 Carat Gold Regimental Yeomanry Sweetheart Brooch.

A rare First World War period substantial gold sweetheart brooch, in the form of the badge of 'Clan Murray' a saltire superimposed over a Scottish Crowned oval title 'Scottish Horse 1900', on one side a spray of bay leaves on the other a spray of juniper and bearing post 1905 "South Africa 1900, 1901 1902" scrolls below, the reverse impressed "15ct" (15 carat gold) and maker's details "W & S". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings.
