Royal Naval Reserve 18 carat gold & enamel RNR brooch

A fine quality rare First World War period 'Royal Naval Reserve gold and enamel brooch' on the style of an officer's cap badge, a fouled anchor within a crowned laurel wreath and a 'R.N.R' title inlaid with a deep blue enamelling, the reverse impressed '18ct' (18 carat gold) with maker's details 'Page Plymouth. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
