A fine quality and scarce First World War period 'Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders sweetheart brooch', converted from an officer's large die-cast silver collar badge by the addition of a pin and hook possibly at the time, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's detail "S & Co" (Sydney & Co, Birmingham). Very good condition.
