A superb Second World War period fine quality 'Royal Engineers diamond sweetheart brooch' bearing 'GVIR' cypher, the wreath and Crown with cushioned red translucent enamel backing set with diamonds, rich blue enamelling to the Garter and scroll, the reverse is impressed "18CT" (18 carat gold). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, enamel perfect.
