A rare First World War period Canadian Expeditionary Force '23rd Reserve Battalion Canada CEF sweetheart brooch' gilt and enamel Crowned circlet bearing title "Reserve Battalion Canada" within a maple leaf with enamelled disc with "23". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, perfect enamel, gilt remains fresh, an excellent example.
Height 40mm.
