The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) 1908 Hallmarked Silver & Enamel Regimental Brooch by Philips of Aldershot.

A fine quality scarce 'Scottish Rifles' small silver brooch inlaid with green enamelling, depicting a 'Sphinx' on 'Egypt' tablet over ornate bugle horn bearing "SR" cypher, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1908 and maker's details "F.P" in a shield also "Philips Aldershot". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, perfect enamel.
