WW1 Royal Scots 15 carat Gold & Enamel Regimental Sweetheart Brooch.

A superb First World War period fine quality 'Royal Scots gold and enamel sweetheart brooch', the badge of the Regiment, a faceted Star of the Order of the Thistle with circlet bearing the Latin motto "Nemo Me Impune Lacessit" and thistle to the center inlaid with green enamelling, with 'Royal Scots' scroll below in rich blue, applied to a slender bar by two rivets, the reverse impressed "15ct" (15 carat gold). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings and perfect enamel.
