A superb First World War period fine quality 'Royal Scots gold sweetheart brooch', the badge of the Regiment, the Order of the Thistle Star with St. Andrew to the center with horseshoe title scroll below 'The Royal Scots' and mounted on a hollow gold rifle, the reverse impressed "9ct gold" and with maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers, Birmingham). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fitting and rifle sling.
