WW1 1st Newfoundland Regiment, Rare Gilt & Enamel Sweetheart Brooch.

A rare original First World War period pre 1918 '1st Newfoundland Regiment sweetheart brooch', gilt metal Moose head bearing full antlers and resting on scroll inlaid with blue enamel. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, gilt remains fresh, minor chip to the enamel right end of scroll, otherwise an exceptional example.
