A scarce original First World War period 'Canadian silver sweetheart brooch', hand pierced letters 'Canada' mounted on a Mameluke style hollow silver sword the reverse bearing Birmingham 1916 hallmarks and maker's details "ALLd" (Adie & Lovekin). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortions. An excellent example.
