7th (Princess Royal's) Dragoon Guards, 1913 Hollow Silver Horseshoe Cavalry Sweetheart Brooch.

A rare just prior to the First World War '7th (Princess Royal's) Dragoon Guards hollow silver horseshoe sweetheart brooch', mounted to the centre the 'crest of Lord Ligonier' a lion merging from a Coronet above his motto "Quo Fata Vocant" and title scroll '7th Dragoon Guards', the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1913 and maker's details "MB" in two ovals. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortions, an exceptional rare example.
