Army Service Corps Boer War 1900 silver regimental brooch

A rare original Boer War period 'Army Service Corps hollow silver sweetheart brooch, the badge of the Corps applied to an ornate hollow silver oval backing with ornate ivy leaf decoration, the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1900 and maker's details 'FS' (Franz Schiebner) in two ajoining circles. Very good mint condition, complete with original pin fittings, no dents or distortions. An excellent example for the connoisseur.
