WW1 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys), 1914 Chester Hallmarked Silver & Gold Antique Regimentall Sword Brooch.

A very rare First World War period '2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys) sweetheart brooch'; the heavy gold fronted badge, a French eagle resting on "Waterloo" tablet, mounted on a 1912 Officer's pattern style sword, the reverse bearing Chester silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details "J&RG" (J & R Griffin, Birmingham). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings and all of the gold plating to the front of the badge.
